Can I break up the performance time, or do I have to use it all at once?

You’re booking a time slot on my calendar. Performance time runs continuously during the slot you select.
If you want music at separate times, those time blocks need to be booked.
Do you play over the original song or just violin by itself? Can I ask for a specific song?

I perform live violin over the original song. Instrumental versions can also be used if requested.
After you book, you’ll get a short questionnaire where you can list song requests and your overall vibe.
If you want a very specific moment (walk-in, first dance, surprise entrance), you can add that too.
Do you bring your own sound system, or do I need a DJ?

Yes. I always bring my own speaker setup that can supply sound loud enough for large banquet rooms.
I can also perform acoustically for smaller, more intimate spaces if preferred.
I’m happy to plug in and play along with your event’s DJ if coordinated in advance. Please let me know ahead of time so everything runs smoothly.
How early do you arrive for setup?

I typically arrive about 45 minutes early to set up and be ready on time.
Can you walk around the room and perform, or do you stay in one place?

You can choose. My wireless setup allows me to project my violin through my speaker while walking around, or perform in one stationary spot based on your event setup.
What happens if plans change?

If you need to reschedule, reach out as soon as you can. I’ll do my best to move you to a new date based on availability.

How does travel work?

For Chicago and nearby suburbs, travel is straightforward. You book your time and location, and I arrive ready to perform. For out-of-state events, travel is handled by me and included as part of the booking.
